Cinnamon Apple Brunch Bake

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 (12 ounce) cans apple pie filling
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 (12 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuits
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in sugar, apple pie filling, cinnamon and vanilla.
Spread 1/2 the mix into a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
Separate the biscuits and cut into quarters.
Arrange pieces, points up over the mixture.
Spoon the remaining mixture over the “biscuit-peaks” and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Let rest for 5-10 minutes.
Serve warm.
