Ingredients:
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark molasses
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 eggs
3 cups flour

Directions:
Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water.
Mix all ingredients together.
Roll very thin.
Cut dough with a cookie cutter.
Bake at 325 degrees until light brown. Watch carefully, as cookies brown very quickly.
