Ingredients:
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onions, chopped
2 large carrots, diced
parsley sprigs, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon chicken soup base
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 cups rice
Directions:
Wash rice well with water to remove starch.
Add some water to prevent burning.
Saute onion, celery and carrots in butter.
Add paprika, parsley, rice and soup mix, and seasonings.
Cook adding water to equivalent of 2 1/2 cups.
Simmer approx 3/4 hour.
