Iron Kettle Lunch

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons oleo
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onions ( diced)
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 (1 lb) package noodles ( cooked by package directions)
1/4 lb mild cheese ( grated)

Directions:
Melt butter in iron kettle, (may use a regular skillet). Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.
Add onions and cook 5 minutes longer.
Add tomatoes, salt, cooked noodles and cheese; mix well.
(If using regular skillet, transfer to casserole dish) and set aside. If using iron skillet set iron skillet full of ingredients aside for 1 hour for blending of flavors.
Then bake at 350F for 1 hour.

Servings: Serve

Time preparation: 15 min.

Time total: 135 min.
