Ingredients:
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped nuts
2 cups flour
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup molasses
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
Grease 9 x 13 pan.
Dust raisins and nuts in 1/4 cup flour.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add salt, eggs and molasses.
Sift flour and the rest of the dry ingredients into creamed mixture and mix well.
Add nuts and raisins and stir.
Spread batter in pan.
Bake 15-20 minutes.
Cut into squares.
