Ingredients:
3 (1 lb) cans pork & beans
5 tablespoons barbecue sauce
5 tablespoons dark molasses
1 cup brown sugar
11 -12 slices bacon, cut up then cooked
1 large onions, diced
Directions:
Mix all together.
Bake at 325 F for 20-25 minutes.
To reduce to 2-lb. recipe:.
1/2 cup brown sugar.
3 tablespoons barbecue sauce.
3-3 1/2 tablespoons dark molasses.
1 small onion, diced.
6 slices bacon, cut up then cooked.
Original recipe called for 3 1/4 tablespoons ketchup, 1 3/4 tablespoons spicy mustard – later changed to barbecue sauce.
Smaller recipe – 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoons spicy mustard.
