Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
20 ounces pineapple tidbits, do not drain
1 tablespoon lemon juice
16 ounces sliced red beets, drained
Directions:
In a saucepan over med-low heat, melt butter; stir in brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and the juice/syrup ONLY from the pineapple tidbits. Cook and stir until thickened.
Add in pineapple tidbits and beets. Gently stir and heat through. Serve.
