Ingredients:
1 broiler-fryer chickens, cut into 6 to 8 pieces,skin removed
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (15 3/4 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup or 1 (15 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Brown chicken in oil-butter mixture.
Remove with a slotted spoon and place in a baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients, pour over chicken, cover and bake for 1-1 1/4 hours.
