Ingredients:
3 lbs sirloin tip roast
2 ounces whiskey
10 ounces red wine
1 ounce butter
2 ounces flour
salt and pepper
Directions:
Roast the sirloin for one hour at 350 degrees.
Baste with whiskey and wine and cook another hour, basting frequently.
Remove roast from oven, place on a serving dish, and cover with foil.
While the roast is sitting, add water to the juices to make one pint of liquid.
Bring to a simmer and add butter and flour; simmer 2-3 minutes.
Slice the roast and serve with gravy.
