Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves (optional)
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup water
Directions:
Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, salt and spices together into an 8-inch X 8-inch pan.
Make 3 holes in the mixture.
Pour oil in one hole, vinegar into the 2nd and vanilla in the 3rd.
Pour 1 c water over all.
Stir with a fork until all ingredients are blended.
Do NOT remove batter from pan.
Bake at 350F 45 minutes.
