Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 -3 drops Tabasco sauce ( or other hot pepper sauce)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 dash black pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 -8 taco shells
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
1 cup mayonnaise or 1 cup Miracle Whip
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce ( or other hot pepper sauce)
Directions:
For tacos, brown ground beef and onions in a skillet; drain.
Return beef and onions to skillet and add next 12 ingredients.
Simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes, or until moisture evaporates, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, combine all ingredients for sweet and sour sauce and mix until well blended.
Heat taco shells in oven.
Fill taco shells with meat and top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sweet and sour sauce.
