Ingredients:
2 lbs white pearl onions
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon water
Directions:
Onions should be blanched in hot water for 3 minutes.
Remove from water and remove onion skins. No further cooking is necessary.
Melt butter. Add salt and sugar. Stir in the water.
When blended, add the onions and coat well.
