Ingredients:
3 lbs beef short ribs or 3 lbs spareribs, cut into pieces
salt & pepper
2 tablespoons oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup onions, chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/2 bay leaves
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
Directions:
Sprinkle ribs with salt& pepper.
Heat oil in saucepan; saute onion until tender; add garlic.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 min.
Parboil ribs, then place in a shallow pan.
Cover with sauce.
Bake at 375* for 30 min.
