Fettuccine With No-Cook Walnut Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 lb fettuccine pasta
1/2 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon fresh basil
1 garlic cloves
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup half-and-half
1/4 cup yogurt

Directions:
Cook fettuccine al dente.
Toast walnuts.
Mince basil and garlic in a food processor or blender.
Add walnuts, parmesan, salt and pepper; pulse to mix.
Add oil slowly.
Add half and half and yogurt.
Pour sauce over pasta.
If you like, add chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms to the pasta.
