Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
3 cups whole milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup rice, cooked
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
salt and black pepper
white cheddar cheese

Directions:
Mix pumpkin with water.
Bring to an almost boil.
Add milk and transfer to double boiler.
Reheat. Add other ingredients.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Ladle into bowls.
Add cheese to the top.
