Ingredients:
2 tablespoons shortening
4 medium white potatoes
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2-3/4 cup water
salt and pepper
Directions:
Peel and dice potatoes.
Chop onion.
Heat shortening in skillet.
Add potatoes and onion.
Fry until almost crisp.
Add water.
Cover skillet.
Stir frequently.
Steam until most of liquid is gone.
