Ingredients:
1 1/2 quarts water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups instant polenta
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. In a large sausepan, bring water and salt to a boil over high heat. Stir in polenta in a SLOW STEADY STREAM. Lower heat to medium and continue stiring 5 minutes, or until polenta is thickened to the consistency of hot cereal.
2. Remove polenta from heat and stir in the butter, pepper and cheese.
