Ingredients:
2 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups coconut flakes
2 cups corn flakes
Directions:
Cream sugars and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Now fold in flour ,soda, salt, and powder.
After all is well mixed, Fold in coconut and corn flakes.
Drop by small teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet about 1 1/2 inch apart.
Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes.
