Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs stew beef chunks
1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
3 cups water
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 (16 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
2 carrots ( cut up)
1 celery ( cut up)
2 medium potatoes ( cut up)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Brown beef in oil.
Drain off excess oil.
Mix soup mix, tomatos, water and chili powder.
Cook uncovered 30 minutes.
Add vegetables and cook 45 minutes.
