Ingredients:
2 eggs, separated
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 unbaked 8-inch pie shells
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Beat egg yolks until light and thick.
Sift spices with sugar.
Add to the yolks.
Add pecans, raisins, butter and vinegar.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold egg yolk mixture into the egg whites.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce to 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.
