Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and spices; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix butter and brown sugar.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
Gradually add flour mixture and oats alternately while mixing on low speed.
Stir in the raisins and chocolate chips by hand.
Spread mixture into a greased 13×9-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes (until almost firm, but still slightly soft in center).
When cool, cut into bars.
