Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups pecans or 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.
Add salt, almond extract, flour, and nuts.
Mix well.
Chill dough until firm enough to handle.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
While cookies are still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
