Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups pecans, chopped
1 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup whipping cream
Directions:
beat butter on high for 30 seconds —
add sugar, lemon peel, and vanilla.mix well.add flour, and combine well.
press into bottom of 13×9″ baking pan.and bake at 350* for 15 minutes.
reduce oven heat to 325* —
remove crust from oven and pour in filling —
to prepare FILLING:.
combine first four ingredients in a pan and cook over medium heat till it comes to a boil — remove from heat and stir in pecans and cream.mix well.
pour over crust and bake 25 minutes.
cut into bars when cooled — .
