Rice and Sour Cream–So Good

Ingredients:
3/4 lb monterey jack cheese
3 cups sour cream
1 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
3 cups cooked rice
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Cut Jack cheese in thin strips or grated.
Mix sour cream and chilies.
Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole well.
Season rice with salt and pepper.
Layer rice, sour cream and cheese strips in order until you finish with rice on the top.
Bake at 350F for 1/2 hour.
During the last few minutes add grated cheddar, bake till bubbly and melted.

Time preparation: 20 min.

Time total: 40 min.
