Ingredients:
3 -3 1/2 lbs boneless beef roast ( rump, chuck or round)
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 1/4 cups water
Directions:
In a 6 quart pot, brown roast over medium-high heat.
add onion soup mix mixed with water.
bring to a boil.
reduce the heat to low and simmer covered turning roast occasionally 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
