Ingredients:
3 eggs
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnuts ( chopped)
1 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups coconut
2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts ( chopped)

Directions:
Set oven at 350 F
Beat eggs into shortening. Then add sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Bake in a lightly greased 9×13 pan for 25 minuets. Do not over bake. Remove from oven.
Blend condensed milk and coconut and carefully spread on cake layer. Bake again for 15 minuets.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on the coconut layer. When the chips melt, then spread evenly over the top and add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts. Cool and let chocolate topping get firm.
Cut into squares. I live in a warm area, so I keep these bars in the fridge in a tightly sealed container.
