Ingredients:
1 lb chinese noodles
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 chicken breasts, sliced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon sugar ( or equivalent artificial sweetener)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
2 -3 green onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon tamari soy sauce
4 ounces peanuts or 4 ounces cashews, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped ( or equivalent dried cilantro)
1 ( ) bean sprouts ( or other vegetable sprouts)
thin lemon slices
Directions:
Prepare noodles according to package directions, and set aside.
Heat oil and saute chicken until cooked.
Add garlic, sugar, ketchup, onions and tamari sauce.
Using chopsticks or two forks, mix the chicken and noodles, and then add the peanuts or cashews and cilantro.
Garnish with sprouts and lemon.
