Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cups water, hot

Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, vegetable oil and vanilla.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch pan; spread evenly.
Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Spread evenly over batter.
Pour hot water over batter.
Do not stir.
Bake at 350 degrees f or 45 minutes.
