Ingredients:
1 lb rhubarb
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup red wine

Directions:
Wash rhubarb& cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
Combine all ingredients in a heavy pot& bring to a boil.
Lower heat& simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes or to desired consistency.
Let the sauce cool slightly& serve over ice cream.

Servings: 6-8
