Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup diced onions
3 garlic cloves
1 lb hamburger meat
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic
1 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
In a large 4 quart sauce pan heat the oil and saute the onion and garlic over med-low heat for about 5 minutes or until onions are translucent.
Add beef and continue to cook for about 5-10 minutes. Drain the grease.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well together.
Cover the pan, reduce heat and cook on low for 1 hour.
