Ingredients:
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) cans pineapple tidbits, do not drain
1 (16 ounce) cans sliced beets, drained
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
In saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Add pineapple and bring to a boil, stirring.
Boil and stir for 1 minute.
Add beets, butter, and lemon juice.
Cook on med for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm.
