Ingredients:
1 cup real maple syrup
3/4 cup butter
Directions:
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat syrup until it reaches the soft-ball stage (appx 235-240*). Add butter and stir until melts. Pour in a deep bowl and beat with electric mixer until spread is thick and creamy.
