Ingredients:
3 cups potatoes, cut for french fries
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Directions:
Grease 9×13 pan.
Rinse potatoes in collander under running water and pat dry.
Arrange potatoes in pan so they don’t touch each other.
Pour milk over potatoes.
Divide butter into several small pieces and dot evenly over potatoes.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover with foil and bake at 425F for 25 minutes.
Remove and add cheese evenly.
Cover and return to oven for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
