Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) bags prewashed lettuce
1 (16 ounce) boxes frozen peas
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise ( Hellmann’s)
8 slices bacon, cooked to a crisp and crumbled
2 cups shredded cheese ( Monterey Jack or mild cheddar is best)
1/2 purple onions, chopped
Directions:
Defrost peas according to the directions on the box.
Place the 1/2 of the washed lettuce in a large bowl.
Spread 1/2 of the mayonnaise over the lettuce.
Cover with a layer of 1/2 bacon, 1/2 of cheese, 1/2 of the peas, and 1/2 of the onion.
Repeat steps two, three, and four.
Refrigerate for two hours.
Toss salad before serving.
