Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onions, chopped
2 quarts water
1 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
3 cups shredded cabbage
3 cups potatoes, peeled & diced
1 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) cans Italian tomato soup
1 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup chopped green peppers
1 cup chopped celery
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 bay leaves
Directions:
In a large soup kettle, cook beef & onion over medium heat until beef is browned.
Drain.
Add remaining ingredients & bring to a boil.
Reduce heat & simmer, covered, for 1 hour, or until vegetables are tender.
Discard bay leaf before serving.
