Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 lb fresh green beans, cleaned and trimmed
4 tablespoons butter ( or low-fat substitute)
1 clove garlic, crushed
ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:
In a deep skillet over high heat add water, 1/2 of the salt and green beans.
Cover and cook until the beans are barely tender (about 3 and 1/2 minutes).
In a small saucepan, over medium heat mix garlic and butter until melts.
Pour the mixture over the beans.
Add remaining salt and pepper to taste.
Serve warm.
