Ingredients:
6 cups grated broccoli stems, from 2 bunches broccoli
2 ounces parmesan cheese, about 2/3 cup shredded
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions:
Peel and grate the broccoli stems.
Shred the cheese.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the grated broccoli stems and 3/4 tsp salt and toss to coat.
Cover, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Stir in the red-pepper flakes and cook 1 minute.
Stir in the parmesan and serve.
