Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup finely diced onions
1 cup finely diced celery
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 (16 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons mild chili powder (optional)
1 teaspoon dried mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 cups dry textured vegetable protein ( TVP)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
hamburger buns or French rolls
Directions:
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, and saute the onions and celery until very tender.
Add all remaining ingredients except the buns and simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes.
Serve mixture on buns or rolls.
